• Principal financial advisor and business partner to the site leadership team and General Manager of the site
• Provide site management with timely and valuable financial insights that support business decision making at the site level
• Proactively identify and communicate areas for operational and financial improvement within the site, leading to improved gross margins and working capital. Partner with business on initiatives that improve financial performance
• Perform monthly accounting and financial reporting activities for the site including revenue reporting/recognition, product and project margin reporting and manufacturing variance analysis
• Lead the development and coordination of the annual operating plan for the site. Monitor performance and initiate corrective action as required. Drive adherence to monthly/quarterly/annual financial goals
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts as required to support the site leadership team and meet all corporate requirements for the financial reporting and forecasting processes
• Develop product cost standards and cost models for site. Analyze both product/project and customer margins to identify areas of opportunity and focus
• Develop and document standard financial processes. Improve the efficiency of the finance function through a focus on process improvement
• Track and report P&L financials for the 2 business units that operate at the site
• Direct responsibility for maintaining the appropriate environment of internal financial controls in all aspects of the site’s financial reporting. Ensure the consistent implementation of AMRI’s accounting policies, accountable for the accuracy of site financial results in accordance with US GAAP
• Manage and develop 1 site analyst

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required. Master’s Degree preferred
• 5+ years of financial management experience
• Manufacturing (cost accounting) and commercial experience required
• Experience in Financial reporting software; Oracle and Hyperion Essbase/Smartview preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Knowledge of US accounting regulations and company accounting policies and practices, and unquestioned integrity in the application of such standards
• Strong business acumen and judgment. Ability to think strategically about business issues
• Strong business analysis, financial planning and reporting skills that generate business insights that add measurable value
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and presentation skills. Has executive presence and is capable of presenting to senior leadership
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix environment. Maintains effective working relationships across the company, at the business unit and functional levels
